SP series flat-bottom silos

SP series flat-bottom silos

Flat-bottom silos — a reliable solution for storing grain with a volume from 417 to 25,450 m³ (up to 20,360 tonnes). Equipped with an active ventilation system, a high-strength galvanized-steel structure and a convenient gravity discharge system — they ensure grain preservation with minimal losses.

from 417 to 25 450 m³

Model

SP series flat-bottom silos

Advantages

  • Suitable for all regions

    The silo design is adapted to all types of wind, snow and seismic loads

  • The trestle supports are designed specifically for the silo bodies and roofs

    so no additional supports are needed

  • Use of high-quality steel

    Manufactured to European standards, with a zinc coating of no less than 350 g/m²

  • The silo parts are supplied in factory packaging

    In strict sequence and completeness for proper assembly

  • The silos are manufactured on high-precision robotic equipment

    Using a robotic stiffener-rib bending machine, a robotic panel-forming line and a laser metal-cutting complex, the parts fit together perfectly. The laser also marks each part, which makes silo assembly easier

SP series flat-bottom silos: reliable grain storage with minimal losses

SP series flat-bottom silos are the optimal combination of capacity, reliability and modern technology.
Key features:
  • Capacity: volume from 417 to 25,450 m³, storage of up to 20,360 tonnes of grain.
  • Efficient discharge: most of the grain is discharged by gravity through special openings in the flat bottom.
  • Storage versatility: the silos are suitable both for long-term storage of conditioned grain and for temporary storage of wet grain (with ventilation and cooling).
Design advantages:
  • High-strength materials: the walls and vertical stiffeners are made of high-strength steel grades using modern metalworking technologies.
  • Roof truss system for silos over 11.45 m in diameter — made of galvanized high-strength sigma profiles (up to 4 mm thick).
  • Reinforced roof structure: roof sheets with stiffening ribs and reliable sealed joint assemblies.
  • Manufacturing precision: the tolerance for the process holes is no more than 0.003 mm.

Loading and unloading systems:
  • Conveyor galleries of various widths (1,400 mm, 2,100 mm, 2,480 mm) to accommodate one, two or three conveyors.
  • A gentle silo-loading system.
  • A gravity side-discharge system.
  • Enclosures for open-type belt conveyors (made of profiled metal sheet or sheet polycarbonate) for protection against precipitation.
Ventilation and monitoring systems:
  • Active ventilation as standard:
    • roof air ducts in the form of TsAGI deflectors (operate thanks to the reduced pressure created by the wind);
    • perforated panels for high-quality aeration of the product.
  • Optional ventilation with 100% floor-area coverage — for maximum efficiency.
  • Turbo deflectors (optional) — increase ventilation efficiency fourfold thanks to the rotation of the active head under wind action.

Thermometry system for monitoring grain temperature:
  • fastening elements and from 3 to 19 suspensions to the roof;
  • thermal suspensions with sensors;
  • a thermal-suspension polling unit;
  • the ability to monitor using a portable reader or via the computer in the operator's station.

Additional conveniences:
  • a ladder on the silo wall (from the service platform to the roof);
  • an additional service hatch with a service platform.
