KS RB series round-bottom scraper conveyors

The KS-RB-type scraper conveyor is used for the horizontal transport of bulk materials in industry and agriculture, mainly for grain (both bread and seed), oilseed and legume grains, and for transporting products in powder form.

KS-RB-type scraper conveyors are produced in an industrial version, which guarantees reliability in operation and greater durability.

The transported product enters through a loading spout in the side of the conveyor, usually located on the tensioning-device side. The traction chain with scrapers then conveys the grain mass along the round bottom of the casings to the drive station, where the product is discharged. If necessary, several intermediate "bomb-hatch" type discharges can be installed. The traction chain is driven by an electric motor at the drive station via a chain wheel. Tensioning of the traction chain  is mechanical and is carried out at the tensioning station, which is located at the opposite end of the conveyor, with the return run on top.

The chain overlay is made of high-molecular PE500/1000 plastic with high strength, wear resistance and a reduced coefficient of friction, which primarily allows gentle transport of the product and also maintains its wear-resistance performance over a long period.

The round-bottom shape prevents product from accumulating in the conveyor, as there are no angular spots for the product to settle in. This solution prevents the mixing of crops.
