The investment project for the KOBLiK GROUP tractor-trailer plant, currently being implemented in the Maslovsky industrial park (Voronezh), has been recognised as an especially significant project. This became known during a meeting of the expert council on the implementation of the Voronezh Region's socio-economic development strategy. After its launch, it will become the first specialised facility for assembling trailed agricultural machinery built in Russia in the last quarter-century.
As Alexander Dubovoy, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Koblik Group Management Company LLC, noted, the first phase of the facility will create 180 jobs, and the enterprise's output will amount to 100–120 trailers per month.
- This is, without exaggeration, a landmark project, - he commented. - Today we see high demand for these products from domestic farmers, driven by the departure of representatives from "unfriendly countries" and the actual state of the machinery fleet at agricultural enterprises.
Active construction and installation work is now underway at the plant site, and equipment supply contracts have already been signed. The total investment will amount to RUB 1.7 billion. KOBLiK's current level of production localisation is 70%. The plant is scheduled to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2025.
