On 10 September 2025, a working meeting was held between Egor Koblik, founder of KOBLiK GROUP, and the Governor of the Smolensk Region, Vasily Anokhin. The main topic of discussion was the final stage of the investment project to build a plant in the Phoenix industrial park.
Just a year has passed since the launch of the project, which was announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June 2024, where the parties signed a cooperation agreement. Commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
All the main structures have already been erected and the connection of utilities has been completed; preparations are underway for the installation of production equipment. The 11,500 sq m plant will produce up to 600 units of machinery a year: feed mixers, fertiliser spreaders and tractor semi-trailers.
Particular attention is being paid to the comfort of future employees. The city administration, together with the company, is organising transport links to the industrial park, and parking spaces are provided. The enterprise will create more than 130 new jobs with competitive salaries and professional development opportunities.
The regional authorities are providing the project with comprehensive support. In particular, measures are being worked out to subsidise purchases of new machinery for Smolensk farmers, which will ensure demand for the products and speed up the adoption of modern solutions on the region's farms.
KOBLiK GROUP guarantees service support and the availability of its machinery for Russian agricultural producers. The new plant is not only a contribution to the economy of the Smolensk Region, but also an important step towards the sustainable development of the country's agricultural sector.
